The average ring size is 6 and most jewelers sample rings are at size 7 to ensure a very high chance of a fit. Most woman range between 5 and 7 (within a 1,7 mm range). The difference between a 6 and 7 is tiny at 0.8 of a mm, with half of that on either side split again. It is less about getting it perfectly right, but preferably do not let it be too small as some people are superstitious if she cannot put on the ring the first time and it does spoil the moment.

If in doubt, then go with a size 7 if you feel she is in the “normal range” and this should be a high likelihood of a good fit, which can be reduced at local jeweler at a later stage for a snug fit, if required. After ordering a ring and you wish to change the size, please email us within 24 hours to resize@diamondseverlasting.com quoting your order invoice number in the subject line and the ordered ring size and the new requested ring size together with your contact mobile number for confirmation.

Finding her ring size:

  1. Ask her mother or one of her close friends if they know her ring size
  2. Without her knowing, get a ring she uses (when not on her finger or older one in a drawer from the correct finger) and measure below (or if in a hurry, press into a bar of soap) as follows
    • Measure the diameter across the inside in mm (an inch is 2.54 mm) using a ruler and match to the size below table below
    • Add a ½ size to that (in picture 16mm is on table a size 5,5 so add add half a size – size 6)

Size mm Size mm Size mm Size mm
3 14.0 3.5 14.4 4 14.8 4.5 15.2

To change a ring size, due to the cost you would incur and the risk and time, we do not Fedex back for resizing. If resizing is required, please go to your local jeweler to resize, preferably with your “bride to be” to do an exact on the finger fitting. On this you will incur a small charge by the jeweler, yet to change a ring size by a reputable jeweler is easy and quick to perform
